This year, the capacity building seminar for young arbitration practitioners from around the world will be set in a relaxed atmosphere near Milan and will address the topic of Leadership.
As always, the retreat is an ideal opportunity to network and strengthen personal relationships.

EILEEN KHOR
Eileen Khor is a disputes lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in practice and inhouse, having worked in Singapore,
People’s Republic of China and Germany.
She is responsible for dispute resolution for the Generation Division of Siemens Energy.
DEVELOPING YOUR OWN LEADERSHIP STYLE
In this workshop participants will be invited to consider the role of leadership in the context of arbitrations and to enquire what is their personal leadership style.
BERNHARD REINGRUBER
Bernhard is a Leadership Trainer & Coach and certified Radical Honesty Trainer.
After his Master’s in Strategy and Innovation Management where he lived, worked, and co-founded a social startup in India, he joined Teach for Austria’s Leadership program, first as a Fellow and then as a Trainer, Coach, and Team Lead and eventually as the organization’s Regional Director.
He immersed himself in Conscious & Adaptive Leadership, mindfulness and purpose-driven management. In order to pull all of these strings together into a joint framework, he started Honestlead and now offers workshops and programs for open-minded entrepreneurs, managers, and leaders. He supports his clients to reduce drama in the workplace by coaching them to take radical responsibility for their influence in the world.
HONEST LEADERSHIP
Honest Leadership is a new, conscious and vulnerable approach to dealing with outdated old patterns.
We work with this method to build trust-based working relationships and thereby improve connectedness, productivity, innovation and agility.
For anyone who wants to create an honest working atmosphere in their environment.
LENA-CLAIRE SCHULZ
Lena-Claire Schulz works as Academy Sport Psychologist with Eintracht Frankfurt. Key aspects of her work include consulting coaches in their role to support them to improve team performance and to maintain mental health.
She studied Psychology in Trier, Santiago de Compostela and Frankfurt and completed her certification for psychological expertise in top-level sport in Köln. She is a member of the German Society for Sport Psychology (asp), the German Association of Psychologists (BDP) and a listed expert for sport psychology at the Federal Institute of Sport Science (BISp).
COACHING IN SPORTS
In this workshop participants will be invited to engage in a sport psychological session that is usually held for coaches to improve their understanding of the responsibilities their role entitles leading a team.
The main focus will be on self-reflection and a change of perspective when it comes to communicating with a team.
The Summer Retreat takes place at Hotel Villa Borghi.
A Liberty-style designed historic villa surrounded by a large park near the Eastern shores of Lake Comabbio, a few kilometres from Malpensa Airport, and reachable by train from Milano, Switzerland and Southern Germany.
THE LOCATION
Villa Borghi has a limited number of available rooms and also offers transfers to/from Malpensa Airport upon request and individual payment.
Participants are requested to make their own accommodation arrangements (please contact Villa Borghi or any other hotel of your choosing directly).
