ANNA BALMES

Anna Balmes is a lawyer and Innovation Consultant at the Berlin based consultancy "This is Legal Design" as well as a Legal Designer at ARAG SE.

 

Previously, she worked as an attorney in trademark and competition law at a Cologne based law firm. After studying law at Humboldt-University of Berlin and completing her clerkship in the Cologne area, Anna studied Design Thinking at the renowned d-school at Hasso Plattner Institute (University of Potsdam).

 

Since then, her work focuses mainly on the areas of Legal Tech, Legal Design and user-friendly contract drafting - in short, on everything that concerns innovation in the legal market.

EYTAN GELLIS

Eytan Gellis is a Senior Change Manager in the Financial Services industry with over 20 years of experience supporting mid and large global Business & Technology transformations.

As a Senior Change Manager, his responsibilities include the design and implementation of the programs change strategy, people and leadership initiatives, coaching and training, as well as resistance management within the program and their stakeholder.

He works on a daily basis closely with the senior transformation leadership and team managers to enhance and strengthen their ability to lead, coach and develop their own teams and people to deliver in a highly demanding and pressing timeline.

His focus areas are organizational-, cultural- and behavioral changes. Eytan designs and implements transformative measures based on the change strategy, vision and purpose. Related to the above, talent, leadership and team development in an intercultural and transformation setup are truly important to him and to the outcome of any change journey.

In addition, Eytan practices as a certified Executive Coach and passionate workshop facilitator. Working over 10 years as a management consultant, provided him the chance to experience, learn and improve within a broad landscape of industries, clients, as well as different functions and stakeholder.

HENRIK WEHRS

Henrik Wehrs is Allen & Overy's Legal Tech Manager for Europe, is based in Frankfurt, Germany and part of the global Legal Tech Group. With his Legal Tech company, streamlaw, he was part of a global law firm’s innovation hub. Henrik has extensive experience in digital transforamtion, IT and Legal Technology, having previously advised many law firms and legal departments on digital projects prior to joining A&O. He is an expert in providing advice and delivering solutions to the law firm's clients.

Henrik is a lecturer for Legal Tech at the Goethe University, Frankfurt and Frankfurt University. He is German ambassador of the European Legal Tech Association and Co-Founder of Frankfurt Legal Hackers and. As Allen & Overy's Legal Tech Manager for Europe, Henrik Wehrs is part of the firm's Legal Tech Group from his base in Frankfurt, Germany.

He joined A&O from streamlaw, a Legal Tech company that was part of a global law firm’s innovation hub. He has a strong experience in digital transformation, IT and Legal Technology, having advised many law firms and legal departments on digital projects.

He helps the firm's clients to find and implement innovative solutions for their legal challenges. Henrik also teaches Legal Tech at different universities. He is the German ambassador of the European Legal Tech Association and a Co-Founder of Frankfurt Legal Hackers.

The Summer Retreat takes place at Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg.

A former grand imperial hunting retreat which is a fairytale setting, surrounded by meadows, woods and vineyards. With a 12 hectare park a terrace and a the winter garden, where the stunning vistas over Vienna open up.

Anyone looking down from the palatial terrace to the city below will feel as if they are stepping inside the emperor's shoes, with the world at their feet.
